Head to the coastal town of St Bees, enjoy a stroll along the promenade or have a dip in the sea and relax on the sandy beach. For the more adventurous, visit Go Ape at Whinlatter or explore the many bike tracks on offer. Beautiful Buttermere is a short drive away, the scenery is breath-taking, enjoy a walk around the Lake or why not do the Catbells Lakeland Walk. For something different why not go Alpaca and Llama trekking!
This lovely house has an ‘upside down’ layout to take advantage of the views from the balcony in the lounge. As you walk in the front door into the bright spacious hallway you will find two bedrooms on the ground floor, the first one is a pretty double with access out to the garden through French doors. There is also a twin room with zip-and-link beds which can be made up as a king-size on request, this bedroom has an en-suite with a shower and WC. There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor with a shower and WC, and there is a handy boot room with space for your shoes and coats. As you head up the stairs to the first floor you will find a large bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with bi-folding doors from the lounge out onto the balcony where you will find fabulous views over the open countryside and fells in the distance. The lounge has a cosy wood burner, Smart TV and lots of comfy seating to kick back and unwind. The kitchen is well-equipped with a Belfast sink, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is a dining table just off the kitchen for you to sit down as a family over breakfast or dinner. If the weather is good, why not dine from the balcony, watch the local wildlife, take in the countryside and just unwind. Off the kitchen you will find a second double bedroom which also has an en-suite with a lovely freestanding bath, separate shower and WC.
There is a small private garden with lockable storage for bikes and sports equipment, and private parking for up to three cars.
