The Cornish seaside resort of Bude is just 11 miles away, with its choice of sandy beaches, a tidal pool, a range of shops and cafes, a leisure centre and a mini golf course. To the north of the property, the village of Clovelly (11 miles) offers a delightful location for a day out with its cobbled streets, a fishing quay, small beach, traditional fishermen’s cottages and an interesting heritage museum. Other places of interest in the area include the harbour town of Bideford (14 miles), The Big Sheep Adventure Park (12.5 miles) and RHS Rosemoor (16 miles).
On entering this property guests will immediately get a sense calm. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers a comfortable and welcoming space in which to cosy up in front of the wood burner, chill out and watch TV or listen to music on the stereo. The kitchen area has ample space and utensils for whipping up delicious meals, with plenty of cupboard space to store everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is fitted out with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The living space enables everyone to chat whilst cooking, eating or relaxing in front of the wood burner, with peaceful views of the lake from the eating area. The sleeping accommodation offers two bedrooms, one twin bedroom, and one double bedroom. Both rooms are well lit and comfortable, providing the ideal environment for a good night's sleep. A folding bed is also available for an extra person on request. The bathroom is fully fitted with a shower over the bath and WC.
Stepping outside, there is an enclosed, gated decked balcony with steps leading down to the lake, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings or fishing. There is ample parking.
