Head east into the Yorkshire Dales National Park with its famous White Scar Cave and Ingleton Waterfalls Trail 9 miles away. Alternatively, visit the South Lakes such as Windermere 18 miles away for a day of kayaking or cycling around the picturesque shore.

Head out through the bi-fold doors in the living room to the patio, where you can dine alfresco and admire the stunning views from the enclosed garden. There is also a handy lockable bike shed for storing some essential gear. There is private parking for two cars on the property. Guests can also enjoy access to a private section of the river through the owner’s fields, where you can spot a variety of wildlife including otters, kingfishers and deer.
