Located in the heart of the pretty village of Grosmont you will find the newly and lovingly restored Baker’s House. The village is served with a great pub The Angel that offers a varied menu of fresh local produce, a post office with all the essentials and historic landmarks of Grosmont Castle and St Nicholas church right on your doorstep. Grosmont is a fantastic base for exploring the nearby market towns of Abergavenny (11 miles), Monmouth (12 miles), Hay (21.5 miles) and Hereford (18miles), as well as having the Wye Valley in one direction and the Brecon Beacons National Park in the other. A step-down leads to a well-stocked log basket for the stove and access to the lounge. A beautiful cottage directly opposite a pub in a lovely quiet village. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
