A beautiful, terraced cottage with plenty of character providing a home away from home in the village of Brompton, which boasts a friendly pub, shop and walks from the doorstep.

Situated between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors is the beautiful village of Brompton, and the property sits opposite its magnificent 12th-century church. The village inn is renowned for its delicious food and warm welcome and is just a short walk away. Take a 30 minute walk or jump in the car and head 2 miles to the market town of Northallerton, where the high street offers a bi-weekly traditional market where you can stock up on local produce. Step out and find walks in any direction including the coast-to-coast walking route. The opportunities for exploration are endless by foot, car or from Northallerton's mainline station. Enjoy a day at the races, a family trip to the seaside, a day out in Harrogate or York, country houses such as Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall, and Castle Howard, or take in Yorkshire's finest scenery from the winding Wensleydale Railway.

The property is a charming, terraced cottage with views across to the churchyard. Be welcomed into a gorgeous, country-style kitchen/diner crammed with character, and tuck into your gift hamper full of goodies. You'll feel like instantly cooking up a feast with the use of the range-style electric oven with gas hob and electric oven, as well as a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Gather around the dining table to savour a well-prepared meal as the wine is poured, and plans are made for the days ahead. After dinner, head into the cosy lounge with a lovely red wood burner at its heart. Throw a log on and warm your feet in front of the fire with a hot drink and watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC. After a long day, retire upstairs to one of the three bedrooms; a king-size with an intricately detailed brass bed and lots of storage space to unpack. This room is complemented by a spacious en-suite bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. There is also a double bedroom also boasting an antique brass bed and a single room. These rooms share a shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.

If the weather is nice, head up two steps and make dinner an al fresco occasion on the private, south-facing, enclosed patio, where you can savour the last of the sunshine. There is ample roadside parking.
