Traditional Farmhouse situated in the stunning Lake District National Park with views from the garden across the fells and valley, within easy reach of the coast.

This cosy property located in the Lake District National Park 1 mile from the village of Ennerdale Bridge, where you will find lovely country pubs and a coffee shop. Ennerdale Water, the most westerly lake is within 5 miles, is, even in high season, a great place to escape with crystal clear water and forest walks. The coastal town of St Bees is 7 miles away, where you can enjoy a stroll along the promenade or relax on the sandy beach. For the more adventurous, visit Go Ape at Whinlatter 17 miles away, whilst for the more seasoned walkers take on Catbells (26 miles) or Kinniside Stone Circle (1.5 miles) where, on a clear day, you can see Scotland and the Isle of Man.

As you enter the property, you will find a traditional lounge with feature stone walls, comfortable seating, and a Smart TV with Sky Q – all in all offering a great place to relax and unwind. From the lounge, you will find the country-style kitchen with an electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee pod machine and dishwasher. There is a utility room next door with a useful washing machine and tumble dryer and a downstairs WC. Off the kitchen, there is a formal dining room that offers seating for all the party to catch up on the day’s events over a nice meal or plan for the days ahead. From the kitchen, head upstairs to the first floor where you will find three bedrooms: a twin bedroom, a king-size and a small single room which has breathtaking views across the fells. At the end of the landing, there is a family bathroom with a bath, shower and WC.

There is a garden to the rear of the property with a patio and lawn. It is a real suntrap and the views from out here are stunning, a real haven for wildlife. There is ample private parking for up to 3 cars.

Gorgeous cosy house, very spacious, clean and very well equipped. Stunning peaceful location with fabulous views. The garden is a sun trap. Would highly recommend .

Excellent cottage in stunning location. No idea why this place has only 3 stars, it should have more! Lots of space, lovely garden with stunning views and easy access to the north- Western lakes

view is amazing cottage warm and welcoming lovely Easter welcome gifts - very peaceful place surrounded by fields wildlife and sheep - 2 pubs in the village and a cafe - local shops in cleater moor for basics and bigger shops a few miles away in Whitehaven one way and Cockermouth the other - we had a very enjoyable few days
