We really liked the cottage. We got accostumed with the Rayburn very quickly. The beds are really good and the kids loved the wifi and the playfield at 1 minute walk. The cottage was ideally located for visiting some lovely parts of Wiltshire incl Avebury, several white horses and of course Lacock and Castle Combe. After a challenging start to our weekend away getting the Rayburn (required for heating, cooking & hot water) to work, we had a great bank holiday weekend in this lovely cottage in Sutton Benger. Theres also a lovely pub called Read moreThe Wellesley Arms in the village where we had a delicious dinner. The owner provided plenty of essentials like loo roll, washing up liquid etc. Hide

Wonderful old style cottage, nicely decorated and clean. Great parking for two small cars. Lovely and warm once heating goes on very cosy. You do need a car to venture out to places, but Lacock, Avebury are fairly close by car. We did not have a dog, but cottage would be ideal for dogs, with large kitchen.

The house was immaculate on arrival, the owner had thought of everything, and the entire stay was just lovely. The location is great for exploring Wiltshire, Avebury and Marlborough. The additional extras for our stay was so thoughtful, even my dog was left some treats! Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!

A beautiful location. Sadly, too many little annoyances that added up to an expensive disappointment. Not clean. Dust and cobwebs under furniture in the lounge. Bedroom window did not closea gap meaning dont use the light at night. A range cooker would have been FABULOUS with instructions on its challenging use. Had to reset to heat up, every time.Read more Two toilets, only a 1/4 of a toilet roll in the property. TV didnt work, but mended by the owner after 3 days. Great wifi. Comfy beds. Hide
