Nestled on the outskirts of this traditional Devon village you will be under 200 metres from the village shop for picking up supplies. The area is renowned for its spectacular beaches, including Westward Ho! which is a favourite among surfers, offering 2 miles of sand to enjoy. Alternatively, head down the A39 and into Cornwall where Bude, 20 miles away, offers a choice of beautiful beaches. Walkers are also well catered for with the South West Coast Path, Tarka Trail and Exmoor all within a 25-mile radius.

Heading inside this reverse-level barn conversion you will find yourself in the entrance hall with a utility area housing the washing machine. The ground-floor bedroom is spacious, light and airy and has a king-size bed. The shower room is adjacent and has a shower cubicle and WC. Up the stairs, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts a smart TV, vaulted ceiling and beams - the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. An idyllic cottage, nestled on the outskirts of the village. A beautiful cottage that is well equipped with everything you need. Lovely, enclosed garden for our dog, Dexter, and in front of the cottage, a lovely lawn. Lovely views, from the windows. Restful, relaxing. Would highly recommend a stay to recharge your batteries.

Everything was perfect, we enjoyed our stay at Swallow Cottage. You have to be aware though that Buckland Brewer is tiny and the village is quite remote ( it's on you to decide whether that is good or bad)

Perfect little upside down cottage on the edge of a welcoming village. We stayed with our dogs and they were very safe; the area outside was well secured with gate and fence. And there were some nice little dog walks routes. The cottage had everything and more that you could need. I brought lots of things I didn't need.
