Escape with your friends and family to this inviting holiday home set right on the waterfront in the village of Aberdyfi. Gaze out across the water towards Cardigan Bay from the four-bedroom townhouse, which sleeps up to eight guests and is a great family retreat. Stroll less than 500 metres to reach the beautiful open sands of Aberdyfi, where you can swim, surf and paddle board. Go fishing here too or have a go at crabbing from the jetty. Dine out and shop for local provisions. Pick up the Welsh Coast Path from the village and attempt the 4-mile stretch to Tywyn or the 12-mile section to Llwyngwril. Make the most of your position on the edge of Snowdonia National Park to visit beauty spots such as Dolgoch Falls, 9.5 miles away.
Climb the steps up to the front door of the holiday home and step straight into the generous lounge. Recline on the soft seating in this light-filled space in front of the Smart LCD TV for a while. Wander on through into the spacious, farmhouse-style kitchen/diner to make a cup of fresh coffee in the machine or to whip up a tasty meal with the fresh produce you have bought in Aberdyfi. Find you have an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Lay the large table and call everyone through to eat. There is also a utility room on this level, with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer. Venture upstairs to find the family bathroom, featuring a bath with shower above, separate shower, handbasin and WC. Take a few more stairs up to discover three of the bedrooms. These include two doubles, both looking towards the sea, and a bunk bedroom, with 3ft beds to suit children. Climb another set of stairs up to a sumptuous, king-size room, with sloping ceilings and beams, and far-reaching views. There is an en-suite shower room, with WC and some restricted head-height up here too.
Enjoy the fresh air and sea breeze from either the front patio or rear courtyard garden. Take in the views across the water from the benches at the front. Climb the stairs up to the courtyard garden at the back to light the BBQ in the evening. There is no parking with this holiday home, but guests will be given two passes for Aberdyfi’s pay and display car parks; one is within 500 metres.
