A beautifully renovated terraced stone cottage, tastefully and stylishly presented throughout, located in the Western Lake District in the Wasdale Valley.

Nestled in the peaceful village of Gosforth, this delightful cottage can sleep up to four guests and is ideally placed for exploring the coast and countryside alike. Plan your itinerary to involve days on the beach at Seascale only 2.5 miles away, where you can explore the sandy beach and hunt for interesting creatures in the rock pools. Heading east, you can dive into the Lake District, with beautiful Eskdale nearby (5.5 miles), and the Wasdale Valley leading to the glorious expanses of Wastwater (6.5 miles), and on to England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike (9 miles).

Make your way into this lovely open-plan cottage and enter the lounge area, the ideal place to melt into the sofa after a day out and about exploring this picturesque region. Enjoy a cosy night in front of the Smart TV catching up on favourite programmes or watch a film on the Blu-ray DVD with the open fire roaring. The dining area offers a place to enjoy a family meal and chat about the day’s activities and adventures. Move into the kitchen, down a step, and you will find all you need to create the perfect family meal, with an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, and fridge. Outside in the garden, there is a useful utility building with a washing machine, sink and freezer. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you will find the master bedroom with a double bed, and a snug area with an armchair, a range of books, maps and games for you to enjoy - the perfect place to sit back and relax after a busy day exploring. Off from here is the bathroom with a power shower, a lovely double-ended bath positioned in the alcove for you to lay back and enjoy a good soak, and WC. Carrying on up to the second floor, you’ll find the twin bedroom with built-in storage, original beams (please mind your head!), and lovely views of the fells through the Velux window.

Head outside to the patio area with a table and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee, or fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco. There is also a lockable utility building that can be used for bike storage. The courtyard garden with an outbuilding, has low fences on two sides and a shared pathway running along the top where access is required for neighbouring properties. There is limited roadside parking, but there are two free car parks in the village within walking distance of the property
