Escape to this perfectly positioned, quaint, two-bedroom cottage located in the heart of the bustling seaside resort of Ventnor. A beloved resort on the south of the island, Ventnor has something for everyone to enjoy and this cottage is located in the heart of the town. The town’s main beach is half a mile away and popular with families and sunbathers alike thanks to its golden sands, children’s paddling pool, seafront shops, and waterside pub. A little further around the coast within 1.5 miles is Steephill Cove, a quiet, secluded beach that is accessible on foot only. You can access the coastal path from Ventnor seafront, reached down a track from the main road or alternately via a footpath from Ventnor Botanical Gardens. Steephill Cove makes for an ideal place to escape to and enjoy a peaceful dining experience in the beachside restaurant.

Enter this quaint little cottage into its welcoming hallway where the cosy lounge can be found first. Gather around the Smart TV and relax whilst catching up on your favourite box set after a fun-packed day exploring the island. At the end of the hallway is where the kitchen/diner is located. The kitchen comes complete with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. A lovely dining table with ample chairs for everyone is great to sit around and reflect on the day's activities, whilst enjoying a bite to eat and listening to the Amazon Smart Speaker. The double patio doors lead out to the rear garden. Up the stairs is where both double bedrooms can be found with the main bathroom with shower over bath completing this level. A single fold-out bed is available if requested at the point of booking, which will enable two guests to sleep in the same room but separately.

The small, enclosed, rear patio garden with outdoor furniture is a perfect spot to truly enjoy that al fresco dining experience. There is a pay and display car park located behind the cottage where tourist permits can be purchased and used at all participating council car parks around the island.

Great base from which to explore Island - small and cosy. Shops 2 minutes and beach a 5 minute walk! Spent a week over Christmas and had a lovely time striking out from our cosy, warm and welcoming base.

A lovely cottage, well equipped and very comfortable. We had trouble finding it in the one way system but once we did, no complaints at all.

Excellent host and cottage. Made a super base to start each day off. Super clean and tidy parking no problems and very quiet considering such a central location. Local pubs and restaurants were great with a first class choice of meals

Lovely location, easy access to all the main attractions. The accommodation was very pleasant with plenty of room for 4 adults, well equipped kitchen and dining area. Outside sitting area gets plenty of sunshine to late morning and early afternoon . Comfortable beds with a good size bathroom to the upstairs .
