The village of Eckington is situated on the north-west side of Bredon Hill, an outcrop of the famous Cotswold hills, and is surrounded by the River Avon. Here you can leave the car behind as you are well served on foot, there is a well-stocked village store and two good pubs. You can embrace the outdoors with waymarked paths for both walking and cycling, follow the riverside walks from Strensham Lock, or enjoy a day’s fishing on the River Avon, within half a mile. This area has a year-round events calendar: follow the Blossom Trail in springtime, the Asparagus Festival in the summer, and attend the Plum Festival in autumn. A paradise for walkers of all abilities and stamina (great for the kids), there is easy access to Bredon Hill, 4 miles away and made famous by AE Houseman’s ‘A Shropshire Lad’, and the Wychavon Way, 3 miles.

Situated within a cluster of converted farm barns and surrounded by countryside. Step under the oak framed storm porch and into the inviting hallway where you can take a seat to remove your boots within the entrance hall. From here you can access the spacious lounge which offers large picture windows with views across the garden onto the countryside and the Malvern Hills in the distance. From the entrance hall, you have access to the kitchen/diner – this space is perfect for families getting together, well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a king-size bedroom on the ground floor with access to a WC. Climb the stairs where you will find a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower and WC, a walk in wardrobe and wall-mounted TV. There is a double room enjoying views across the countryside as far as the river and across to Strensham Church. There is also a bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC.

Outside guests can enjoy a large, enclosed garden with uninterrupted views across the countryside, perfect for entertaining with a large table, chairs and BBQ.
