Walk the picturesque three miles to visit Bamburgh Castle and Grace Darling Museum and enjoy amazing places to eat and drink in the village after a walk on the beach. Drive across the causeway to historic Holy Island to enjoy the history, views, and local mead. Walk to Beadnell Bay to see the water sports, try rock pooling or picnic in the sand dunes. Visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens, stroll to Low Newton for a drink in the beach pub, taste delicious seafood in Craster, play golf in Seahouses and Embleton.
Enter through the front door and into the welcoming lounge with a Smart TV, and plenty of comfortable seating to relax on in front of the cosy open fire. Head through to the open-plan kitchen/diner where you can enjoy sociable meals together at the dining table and plan your days out exploring. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. After dinner, you might choose to sit in the bright and spacious conservatory with more comfortable sofas and views of the south-facing garden. French doors open onto the patio and garden. At bedtime, stairs lead up from the lounge to the first floor where you will find the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and lovely views from the balcony over the rear garden to open countryside and grazing horses, it also has an en-suite shower and WC. There is a second king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom with Velux-style windows. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over and WC.
Outside, to the rear, there is a mature garden with shrubs and plants. The patio area has garden furniture where you can sit with drinks and dine alfresco. Three steps lead up to the Summer House/Games Room with table football, a dartboard, air hockey, snooker and bean bags seating providing a great place for family fun and for older kids to relax. There is off-road parking for two cars at the rear of the property, plus on-street parking in front of the property if required (subject to availability).
