This early 19th century windmill is situated on the canal within easy walking distance of the historical market town of Boston. It is well placed for touring and walking and close-by there is one of the best markets in Lincolnshire. An ideal romantic get-away.

This early 19th century windmill is situated on the canal within easy walking distance of the historical market town of Boston. When milling gentle rumblings can be heard in the apartment that has been finished to the highest standard.

Boston offering a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities, is well placed for touring, walking and close-by there is one of the best markets in Lincolnshire. Local delicacies are plentiful but the Boston sausage is a must. For days out, the Lincolnshire Wolds provide an ideal place for exploring and the market towns of Horncastle and Louth are within easy reach. The picturesque city of Lincoln is only a short drive away. Within an hour’s drive, there’s North Norfolk, and the seaside town of Skegness, with its sandy beaches and family attractions. Hemswell is a must visit;  home to the largest Antique's Centre in the UK. The popular RPSB bird sanctuaries at Freiston Shore and Frampton Marsh are just a 10 minute drive. Located within easy reach of historic houses and gardens such as Gunby Hall, Belton House, Belvoir, Grimsthorpe and Tattershall castles.

On entering the mill take the stairs lead to the apartment, A spacious lounge/diner with comfortable sofas ideal for relaxing in front of the TV with freesat and DVD. The kitchen is very well equipped having a range cooker with gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The romantic king size bedroom features antique furnishings. In the bathroom relax in the roll top bath, having a separate WC.

James and Richard are great hosts offering lots of information regarding things to see and do.. Their recommendations for eating out and local takeaways are very good. The tour of the windmill itself was excellent and very informative. The apartment and facilities are of a high standard. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

A gem. Fantastic Venue and Location. Owners very helpful and left a fabulous welcome package which was really kind. A must for anyone visiting the area or interested in industrial heritage.

Such a comfortable apartment in an amazing, historically important building. James and Richard were so welcoming and their knowledge of the area gave us some fabulous days out and about. It was a real pleasure to stay at the Maud Foster Windmill.

Fantastic time. Lovely quirky place. Close to centre but on a lovely quiet street. Owners very friendly and very helpful. Answered queries very promptly. Even went above and beyond to help me. Made some great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Lovely welcome package including fresh homemade bread and biscuits.

Absolutely loved our time at Maude Foster windmill and cant recommend it highly enough. Super clean and very comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen. Hosts James & Richard were very helpful and suggested some great places to eat and things to do. Welcome pack of supplies was a really thoughtful touch. Lovely place to stay. It was a surprise for my husband. He always wanted to stay in a windmill. The guys who own it were lovely, really helpful telling us where to visit and eat. This is a delightful and unique apartment incorporated in a windmill complex in Boston. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble in helping to make our stay most enjoyable. The apartment is very homely and comfortable and felt like a home from home.

We had a delightful 5 night stay in this very well equipped and charming apartment. The weather was cold for late May so we could not enjoy the pretty shared garden but the flat was wonderfully warm and cosy. Our tour of the windmill was fascinating. Easy walk into town. What a wonderful week in the windmill! The location meant anything you might need was easily found, the welcome pack was very enjoyable, the shortbread. by James was particularly enjoyable. We felt so honoured to have the opportunity to stay in a working windmill. This was not a windmill themed experience, but a rare place, who's main business is producing flour. The mill building is very impressive.

The apartment at the mill was very comfortable and furnished/decorated in keeping with its heritage. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the mill products for sale in the mill shop were irresistible. The hosts were very enthusiastic about the mill and we enjoyed an informative tour of the working mill.

We loved this property. Its in a quiet location, but just a short walk from the town centre, with it's many and varied restaurants and take aways. The owners are really friendly and were always happy to answer our questions. Its a lovely area to explore too with two RSPB reserves close by.
