This holiday let is located 40 miles (including a ferry ride) from Glasgow. The village is full of interest with grand Victorian mansions and expansive gardens – with the Highland fault-line running through it, this setting is a treat for any geologist. The town of Dunoon is 5 miles away and has a selection of supermarkets, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The local health club and swimming pool are situated on the promenade and are the perfect way to relax and unwind. Edinburgh’s Botanical Gardens’ Himalayan and Bhutanese outpost of landscaped grounds is a must for any keen gardeners (11 miles). Just on from there, is the impressive Loch Eck – famed for being only one of two lochs in the world that host freshwater herring (Powan). The entire Cowal peninsula in Argyll is filled with scenic drives, attractive villages, sought-after places to eat and tranquillity. A quieter and uncrowded place that offers the sights of dramatic scenery – without queues.

Step inside this charming property, and follow the hall in to the spacious open-plan living area. The lounge area with comfortable sofas is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views after a day out exploring the beautiful local area.
