With an elevated position overlooking rolling fields and over to the estuary, this is the perfect base for exploring local coastline walks and award-winning sandy beaches.

Perfectly placed, there is much to see and do from this retreat for two. The beautiful beach of Saunton is 3 miles away and here your four-legged friends can join you. For golf enthusiasts, Saunton Golf Club welcomes visitors and is ranked as one of the best in the UK. The beach is also great for surfers or any water sports. The pretty seaside village of Croyde (6 miles) is renowned as the mecca for surfing and it offers a plethora of pubs, takeaways, and craft shops. Walking enthusiasts are spoiled for choice here with coastal or rural strolls on the doorstep or you can venture out to Exmoor National Park (9 miles). The town of Lynton (22 miles) is connected to Lynmouth via a funicular railway which is the steepest water-powered Victorian railway in the world.

As you enter this quirky nautical theme cabin you will step into the porch area where you can leave your muddy or sandy footwear behind. From here, you enter the open plan living area where there is a comfortable sofa, a Smart TV and a beautiful cosy wood burner which is perfect for snuggling up on those cooler evenings and watching one of your favourite movies after a fun-packed day exploring. There is a breakfast bar with stools that overlooks the far-reaching views across the estuary out to beautiful Saunton Sands. The compact kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, a microwave and a washing machine. When night falls there is a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bathroom with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower and WC.

Patio doors lead to the enclosed garden where you can sit and enjoy the stunning panoramic views with your morning coffee or dine alfresco on the warmer evenings with the charcoal BBQ. There is private parking for one car.

Absolutely 1st class accommodation! Log burner and bath delightful. Spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Enclosed garden for dog was much appreciated. We will return and recommend to our family and friends.

Absolutely stunning, clean cottage with incredible views. My husband and I booked the cottage last minute as a mini honey moon as wed just got married a few days before and wanted a quiet romantic get away with our two dachshunds- and that is exactly what we got! Waterscape is one of the best cottages Ive stayed in.It is light and airy with great views towards the estuary.The level of furnishings, equipment and decor were very good,The enclosed garden was great for the dog but also a very pleasant place to sit with a coffee and admire the view.I very much hope to visit again. Excellent location for exploring Devon. Lovely and clean and everything you needed for a perfect stay. Garden secure for our dog and a splendid view. Bed was so comfy and shower superb. Lots of lovely walks nearby and only a short drive to Saunton Beach which was beautiful. Will definitely return.

This is a delightful place to stay. Very clean and tidy. In an ideal location with an enclosed garden great for our dog to play in. Very secure and quiet. Logs were provided for the first nights fire in the log burner. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with deep bath plus separate shower. Central heating, constant hot water. Brilliant tiny cottage, perfet for the 2 of us and our little dog. Absolutely stunning views with a well laid out mature garden. A lovely getaway, perfect bolthole whilst visiting North Devon beaches and countryside. Very quiet and peaceful. A lovely secure garden for your dog to walk and laze around in. The best comfortable bed I've ever slept in whilst on holiday. All in all, just lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waterscape, its a great location for exploring north Devon. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The small enclosed garden was perfect for the dog. Thank you for the welcome treats, the scones went down very well and the dog was thrilled hed been left something too! Wed definitely book again.

A lovely peaceful location. A lovely welcome package of scones cream and jam with teas and coffees greeted us on arrival. Really comfy bed. The cottage felt homely without feeling like you were in someone elses home. Garden was a place of tranquility. Well equipped kitchen.
