This medieval market town has over 600-listed buildings including the castle and world-famous Abbey. It boasts excellent eateries, restaurants, boutique shops, and architectural gems, situated in a loop of the River Severn. Take a trip to National Trust’s Attingham Park, Wenlock Edge, and the Long Mynd in the Shropshire Hills, An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, all within 10 miles. Whatever your interest from walking to cycling, fishing to culinary delights, or shopping for the arts, it’s on your doorstep in this all-year-round destination for friendly catch ups and family holidays.

This beautiful period townhouse with stylish interiors, has all your creature comforts, and all the thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. Walk into the hall, with the garden straight ahead and down a few stairs to a lovely kitchen/diner. If you decide to eat in with your purchases on local travels the kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. Once ready gather in the splendid dining room with original panelling, feature fireplace and the dining table taking centre stage. After dinner head up the stairs to the lounge, passing the separate WC. The lounge, again has lovely wood panelling, two sumptuous sofas, Smart TV, and feature fireplace for cosy nights in. Take time for a leisurely bath in the stylish bathroom with bath and WC. When ready for bed go up to the next floors with two lovely king side bedrooms to choose from which have been designed with your comfort in mind and have lovely town views to wake up to. On the top floor is the library snug with a daybed to get comfy and lose yourself in a good book with rooftop views from the window. This is a lovely residence to holiday in.

Outside you will find a pretty garden with established shrubs and trees, a paved patio, table, chairs, and charcoal BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining in this sheltered sun trap, if you like a little shade walk up to the top of the garden with lawn and further seating. The garden shed houses the washing machine. Public car parks are nearby (charges apply).

Staying at this cottage is a real treat as it is like staying in a comfortable house of the Tudor Age with todays modern high class facilities. Very enjoyable is the very pleasant garden for games and reading a good book. The bedrooms turned out to be extremely comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is very well equiped ! A great variety of shops can bRead moree rached within minutes ! The landlord can point out to you where you can park your car near the house without paying any money. Hide
