There is a golf course just 1 mile away, so for any keen golfers, bring your clubs! Carlisle is a fascinating city; it has a beautiful cathedral and castle in the city centre. The Lake District is only 20 miles away where you can visit Ullswater and take a trip on one of the famous steamers, or conquer the stunning Catbells or Skiddaw where you can see for miles from the summits.
The property occupies the wing of a Victorian house, where the owner lives on-site yet privacy is guaranteed. Set over three floors, it has lots of original features and a traditional feel, with a contemporary twist on the second floor. There is a TV in the kitchen as well as a small informal dining table, perfect to grab some breakfast or a coffee before heading out to explore. From the kitchen, you will find a lovely formal dining area within the conservatory. This room looks across the lounge and is also accessible from the formal lounge. There is a large dining table for the party to gather around, watch the sun go down, and discuss the day’s events. Hidden away under the staircase you will find a convenient WC.
