Bakewell is one of the most popular towns in the Peak District, offering a range of shops, galleries, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. The local area is well served for cyclists, as Bakewell lies at the start of the Monsal Trail (4 miles), one of three car-free walking and cycling trails in this part of the Peak District. For fascinating history, visit attractions such as Chatsworth House and Gardens (5 miles) and Haddon Hall (3 miles) to give you a glimpse into the past.
