For families, theme parks ‘The Big Sheep’ and ‘The Milky Way’ along with the North Devon Wake and Aqua, park provide a great day out and are only a short drive away. Visit Hartland Point for its lighthouse and rock formations, or Hartland Quay, also with a dramatic coastline, bold geology, and panoramas from Lundy Island to Cornwall. Hartland Abbey, 1.5 miles away is a historic property open to the public and regularly used for filming dramas and feature films. You could visit the award-winning gardens at Docton Mill (3.5 miles) and enjoy afternoon tea or walk around the lovingly restored gardens. For those who like to swim, there are beaches nearby and the sea pool at Bude (16.5 miles)
As you step into this traditional Devon cottage, you will find yourself in the kitchen/diner with everything you need to cater to your every need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and fridge. The farmhouse dining table allows everyone to sit and eat together and catch up on the day’s activities. Step into the cosy lounge where the wood burner is the focal point. There is a Smart TV and comfortable seating so you can sit back and relax perhaps while watching a movie. Upstairs, you will find the three attractive, cottage-style bedrooms: one double, one single, and the third with bunk beds. The bathroom completes the accommodation and offers a shower over the bath and a WC.
Outside the cottage set amongst other traditional cottages, there is a small outside area to sit and enjoy a coffee to the front ( this also serves as access to the cottage next door). Outside the cottage to the front is space for one car, there is roadside parking available subject to availability; alternatively, there is a long-stay car park located nearby which is free.
