A delightful four-storey period cottage that is just metres from Padstow’s harbour and other popular amenities. A wonderful retreat for couples and friends.
This idyllic cottage benefits from a prime position within Padstow, with shops, cafes and especially restaurants nearby, including Rick Stein’s flagship fish venue The Seafood Restaurant. For outdoor enthusiasts, Padstow is the end point for the Camel Cycle Trail and a phenomenal base to enjoy the sandy beaches up and down the coastline. Across the water, you will find Rock and Polzeath, both under 16 miles away. Here you will find the golden sands and turquoise waters, along with many more local amenities. If scenic walking trails are more your style, then hopping on the picturesque South West Coast Path should be near the top of your to-do list, and is a great idea for those with four-pawed friends.
Upon entering the cottage, make your way into the opening hallway with direct access to the lounge. The lounge space contains two comfortable sofas, an electric fire and even a Smart TV to enjoy your favourite films with ease. Making your way down the stairs will bring you to the ground floor kitchen/diner, which has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, while the dining table provides ample seating for all guests. Taking the stairway up from the opening hallway will bring you to the first of the two bedrooms, a king-size bed which can be split into two 2’ 6” single beds upon request (only suitable for children). The family bathroom is also situated on this floor and contains a shower over the bath and WC. There is then one final narrow steep stairway which will take you up to the master bedroom which occupies the whole of the top floor. This bedroom contains a double bed and has the added benefit of ample storage space too.
The outside enclosed patio area can be accessed via the rear entrance to the cottage or from the kitchen/diner on the ground floor. Here guests will be able to relax away from the hustle and bustle on the outdoor seating provided and even cook up a storm on the BBQ. No private parking at the property itself but public car parks situated close by (subject to availability).
