Discover magnificent Bamburgh Castle, walk and picnic on the glorious, sandy beach and sample the delights on offer in the independent shops, bars and restaurants (4 miles). Walk to Seahouses Harbour (7 miles) along the coastal path for a boat trip to the Farne Islands and spot the many bird species, including puffins in the breeding season and, of course, lovable seals. This beautifully presented shepherd’s hut enjoys an attractive area within the grounds of the owner’s land with open countryside and farmland all around. Step up three steps to find the welcoming open-plan living/dining/sleeping area with a cosy wood burner in the corner for those cooler evenings. There is a small gas hob to make your morning cup of coffee and a fridge with an icebox. You also have access to the well-appointed shared kitchen with microwaves, washing up facilities, electric sockets for charging your devices and a washing machine. At bedtime, enjoy a restful night’s sleep on the double bed after a day exploring the beaches and seaside villages. There are a couple of storage cupboards under the bed for your things and pretty tea lights and torches are provided for the ambience. The contemporary shower room features a walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, relax in the private garden area with a wooden table and chairs where you can eat breakfast or enjoy a BBQ and evening drinks before some stargazing.
