Lochearnhead is a beautiful tranquil village nestled on the western edge of Loch Earn. Surrounded by magnificent mountains and forests and sits within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The village has a huge amount to offer with a wide range of water sports including sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and water-skiing! Endless hikes, trails, and mountain walks surround the Loch - there is an activity for everyone! Around Lochearnhead are plenty of local pubs, restaurants, and shops to visit all within easy reach. We welcome you to this cosy picturesque bungalow after a long day on the loch.

Step through the front door and into the utility area, with ample space for coats and storing muddy boots, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. Follow through into the beautifully designed, need for nothing kitchen, features include an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Cook up a family meal or simply enjoy a coffee at the breakfast bar. Next is the jaw-dropping open-plan living and dining area, kick back on the love chairs or snuggle up on the deep-seated sofa while taking in those incredible views of Loch Earn. Enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV when the sun goes down and gather around the large dining table for an evening meal. The hallway leads to three good sized bedrooms, all of which have wall-mounted Smart TVs and glorious views of either the Loch or the well-kept garden. There is a twin room and two doubles with the master bedroom having an ensuite with a rainfall shower and WC. The family bathroom is contemporary and modern with a shower over the bath and WC.

To the rear of the house, there is a magnificent decked area with garden furniture and a gas BBQ to dine alfresco. This is where you can soak up the Scottish sunshine enjoying the wonderful views or star gaze in the evening. Storage is available in the double garage for bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks. There is parking for two cars on the driveway and also ample space on the quiet street for on-street parking, subject to availability.

The cottage was very comfortable,clean and well set up. The location and views exceptional. Great deck overlooking the loch. There is a pub right around the corner and walks right from town. Fantastic!

The cottage is ideally situated overlooking the loch with lots of wildlife to see , even an osprey at times. The accommodation was modern, clean and tastefully decorated to a high standard. Incredible views, even when it's raining. Very quiet area. Great for water sports and walking. Excellent chippy in Comrie. Killin co-op had all we needed. Plenty to do locally, including Dochart falls a day after it rains.

Idyllic location with amazing views. Spacious house which was spotlessly clean and with a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels and lovely welcome basket which included milk, coffee, biscuits and flowers. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend if you are looking for something with a slower pace

I would recommend this beautiful cottage with wonderful views over the loch. We were very impressed by how well equipped it was. No need to take extras such at cleaning stuff and dishwasher tablets. This is a lovely cottage in a quiet cul de sac overlooking Loch Earn. It was immaculate when we arrived and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a self catering break. Beds are comfy and bathrooms well decorated. The welcome basket was v helpful after a long journey. The cottage is in a great location for walking or sightseeing with Glencoe (Read more50mins), Loch Lomond (45mins), Stirling (45mins). If you fancy a day trip, take the train to Edinburg from Stirling (55min train ride). Hide

A wonderful place to stay, comfortable, well-equipped and ideally placed to go out for walks / hikes all around the area (there's a little blue book on the bookshelf with lots of walks that is very helpful). The town of Callander is a shortish drive and has a couple of mini supermarkets. We stayed for a week and saw sunshine, mist, rain, hail and sRead morenow. We had a lovely week in Scotland and the location of the cottage was perfect, the views were stunning and we even got to see the sunshine! We used the local pub a few times which was handy, the kids enjoyed the water sports and will definitely come again!!

Don't be fooled by the unexciting front of this property! Inside, there is a large and superbly well-equipped kitchen and a great open-plan lounge/diner with fabulous views across the loch towards Ben Vorlich. This cottage was stunning. It was beautifully decorated and really well equipped. The location was perfect for getting out and about and there were 2 hotels within a 5 minute walk if we wanted to go out for a drink or didn't want to cook. We only ate at the Lochearnhead Hotel and the food and hospitality of the hosts was really good.

A beautiful property in a stunning location with a gorgeous view. Equipped with everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. As above, l booked the bungalow because l thought it was a disabled bungalow, but it wasnt. We came home on Wednesday due to a fall down the front steps and bruises made it painful to stay, plus the seats made it difficult to get up because the chair revolved when trying to rise or put my shoes on. We had a great family break at this cottage. The thoughtfulness and comfort level of the accommodation was excellent. Homely makes it sound dated, which it wasnt at all, brand new in fact.
