The River Teifi is a popular fishing river and there are various walks in the local area, or why not visit the Teifi Valley Railway in Henllan on the border of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. There is plenty of countryside and local walks to explore from your doorstep but, if you fancy a day at the seaside, head for the beautiful Cardigan Bay coast. Aberporth beach, split into two sections with half being dog-friendly all year round, can be reached in 15 miles. Or head to the ever-popular New Quay for a day out and enjoy some fish and chips, you may even spot a dolphins or two in the bay. Aberaeron is a 30-minute drive, lined with colourful painted houses, brows in the independent shops, cafes and restaurants and stroll around the harbour and enjoy a famous honey ice cream.
