Indeed, Comrie village centre is less than a half mile stroll. Here you will find an array of local cafes, restaurants, bars, a popular deli, and independent shops including boutiques selling jewellery, glassware, paintings and art. Loch Earn is 6 miles from the cottage, with a variety of water sports on offer including paddleboarding, kayaking and sailing, and salmon and trout fishing (permits available in village post office). Being on the edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, the hikes and cycle routes are endless!

Step off the patio and into the sunroom, a perfect place to relax in the evening sun after a long day of exploring the wonderful area. Through into the cosy living room with a wood burner (first basket of logs provided) and comfortable sofas. The compact but well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, and there’s a utility room with a washing machine, dryer and spare freezer. On the ground floor is the modern family bathroom with a shower over bath. On the first floor there is a twin room, perfect for the children with views of the garden and hills, and a second double with plenty of hanging wardrobe space.

Outside, there is garden furniture to enjoy al fresco dining and drinks whilst the dogs run around the garden. The garden wraps around the house and is very well established with beautiful flowers and shrubs. There is private parking with space for two large or three small cars.

Private location. Well prepared house. We met the cleaner who was really helpful. Very comfy stay. If you have children we would recommend a visit to Auchingarrach wildlife park only a 5 minute drive away.

A delightful cottage and garden with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable lounge, conservatory and beds. Lovely quirky cottage with a great garden. Peaceful location. Stairs are steep to two of the bedrooms , though theres a lovely downstairs bedroom for people unable to manage them.

Had a fabulous week in the cottage. Everything we hoped for and more. The log burner made it cosy. Good to have the option of the conservatory to watch and listen to the birds. Enjoyed the walks from the cottage. Ate twice in the Deils Restaurant would recommend very friendly and fabulous food.

A perfect holiday for a week. Quiet location and easy walking distance to centre of village. Cozy house. The two single beds maybe not for adults. Grandson 14 and too short for him but be ok for younger children. Be careful of stairs but ok if take your time. Lovely garden to chill in.
