There is a Smart TV and a beautiful wood burner at the heart of the room. Come together around the nearby dining table and enjoy a celebration meal if the delights of Bakewell can’t tempt you to eat out. Lovely cottage, great location. Felt newly refurbished and in great condition. Although there is no parking immediately outside, you can offload and then park at allocated space. Very cosy inside for our winter break. Fire was very much appreciated and made the trip.

I would consider myself average size for an older man and my wife is definitely small, and we felt the cottage was a bit tight for movement in the bedrooms. We were only 2 people so space was adequate. After having a long problem (my fault) with the over sensitive microwave (no instructions) , things got back to having a normal holiday.
