Set within a picturesque village just a stones' throw from the Yorkshire Dales, this charming bungalow is just perfect for explorers whatever the time of year.

Nestled in the heart of the pretty village of Bradley, just a short stroll from the front door lies a charming pub serving home-cooked food. Surrounded by nature with open countryside nearby, there are many walks and cycle trails just a stones' throw away. Enjoy a peaceful stroll along the canal that leads to the bustling market town of Skipton and explore the 'Gateway to the Dales'. Skipton boasts an ancient castle that is open to the public, an excellent market three days a week and a wealth of independent shops, bars and restaurants to sample. The stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park is just 4 miles from the cottage where you can enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.

A path from the parking area and through the garden leads to this delightful bungalow. Step through the door and find a handy utility room with a washing machine on your left-hand side, perfect for leaving coats and muddy boots after a day of exploring. Moving through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, a bright and spacious room with all you need to rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal. The farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with an electric double oven and hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A breakfast bar with stools at one side and chairs at the other makes mealtimes a breeze and creates an ideal space for catching up on the day's activities. One step up leads through to the cosy lounge with comfortable sofas, an electric wood-burner-effect fire and a Smart TV that beckons you to put your feet up and relax. Off the lounge is a corridor that leads to two bedrooms, a king-size with Smart TV and a bunk room (suitable for adults - care to be taken with children under 6 years old in the top bunk), and the family shower room with WC.

Heading outside you will find the pretty cottage garden bursting with flowers and wildlife. Relax on the terrace and listen to the bird's chirp as you enjoy a morning coffee. There is also a fire pit for chilly evenings and a charcoal BBQ so you can enjoy dining alfresco. There is off-road parking for two cars.

This property is very dog friendly. Dog wash and dog towel provided. The boot room was so useful with coat hooks above the radiator for wet days. Morning walk from the door along the canal. Wildlife friendly garden. Well equipped kitchen and well situated for exploring the Dales.

Was comfy and cozy when we returned after our day trips. Perfectly located in a very quiet cul-de-sac with lovely walks along the canal. Hope to return in the future.

Good location, with easy access to bus routes and canal path. Cottage needs a bit of an uplift (i.e.Bathroom) and double bed has a serious slope on the window side.

A really well and thoughtfully equipped modern bungalow (ideal for the elderly) but strangely with a step between kitchen and diner. Soft mattress on a king size bed with a lovely outlook. Small courtyard with a bush that needs trimming over the gate and 2nd bedroom dark because of overgrown bushes. June is a bad month for this. Bathroom small and Read moreneeds attention (I've told owner). Prefer separate wc but okay. Hide

A lovely cottage with a wonderful view. Cosy and equipped very well, in fact I would go as far as saying it was the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. Had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we were visiting Yorkshire.

The property was ok, I think a better discrption of location would be advisable as to being located on a housing estate. We did enjoy our time in and around the area and it's a good base for visiting places, but unfortunately the property wasn't my cup of tea.

My husband and I and the 2 dogs had a great stay in this warm, cosy and comfortable cottage. The owner had provided and equipped the cottage to the finest detail and was very attentive, kind and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. We loved feeding the hedgehogs each day and freshening the water for them. A huge thank you.
