Enjoy a peaceful stroll along the canal that leads to the bustling market town of Skipton and explore the 'Gateway to the Dales'. Skipton boasts an ancient castle that is open to the public, an excellent market three days a week and a wealth of independent shops, bars and restaurants to sample. The stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park is just 4 miles from the cottage where you can enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.
A path from the parking area and through the garden leads to this delightful bungalow. Step through the door and find a handy utility room with a washing machine on your left-hand side, perfect for leaving coats and muddy boots after a day of exploring. Moving through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, a bright and spacious room with all you need to rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal. The farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with an electric double oven and hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A breakfast bar with stools at one side and chairs at the other makes mealtimes a breeze and creates an ideal space for catching up on the day's activities. One step up leads through to the cosy lounge with comfortable sofas, an electric wood-burner-effect fire and a Smart TV that beckons you to put your feet up and relax. Off the lounge is a corridor that leads to two bedrooms, a king-size with Smart TV and a bunk room (suitable for adults - care to be taken with children under 6 years old in the top bunk), and the family shower room with WC.
Heading outside you will find the pretty cottage garden bursting with flowers and wildlife. Relax on the terrace and listen to the bird's chirp as you enjoy a morning coffee. There is also a fire pit for chilly evenings and a charcoal BBQ so you can enjoy dining alfresco. There is off-road parking for two cars.
