Being close to the centre of Balloch (1 mile), you’ll have restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops at your convenience. Loch Lomond is just 2 miles away and the southern tip boasts a whole host of attractions for those who like to stay on dry land, such as the Bird of Prey Centre, the Sea Life Aquarium and TreeZone’s aerial adventure course. The loch is also great for water lovers, with activities including paddleboarding, wakeboarding, kayaking and water skiing available. The beautiful Balloch Castle Country Park is 1 mile away and has impressive views over the loch, and you can enjoy the Fairy Glen, Chinese garden, pleasure grounds, quarry pond, kitchen garden, secret garden, woodlands and parklands.

 Enter this stylish and spacious property into the hall, where you can hang your coats and take off your muddy shoes. Follow the hall through to the comfortable lounge, relax on the sofas and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Doors open into the dining area where you can delight your guests with a delicious evening meal around the large table that seats 8 comfortably. French doors open into the garden, extending this space further. Continuing back through the hallway, you’ll find the well-equipped kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Open the French doors leading directly outside while enjoying your morning coffee at the breakfast table. Continuing back through the hall you will find a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. There are three light and bright double rooms, one with an en-suite shower and WC.

Venturing outside there is an enclosed patio area tastefully created to reflect comfort and privacy with your own hot tub, bespoke gazebo with seating and charcoal BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am – 10pm daily. There is parking at the front of the property in the courtyard for three cars.

Had a great weekend lovely cottage, Balloch is an excellent place to escape for the weekend. We will definitely be back.

Good location, nice place to stay but could be so much better with some small touches! Some soft furnishings like curtains, rugs and some wall art would help with the echoing and the cold feeling. Would recommend some extra touches like a welcome basket, plus even useful bits and pieces like tin foil, cling film and even a dog bed would have been nRead moreice. The low wall outside not good for the dogs. The washer and dryer were useful So much potential, just needs to be made a little more homely. Hide

We had a fabulous time at the cottage. The cottage was amazing. They are in a great location - short walk to town where there are plenty pubs and places to eat. The cottage had everything we needed, they were spotless and there was loads of room. Highly recommend and we will defo be back.

lovely place to visit but dont book if you are going for a hot tub weekend (as we were). The cottage itself is in a spectacular location, decorated and kitted out to a high standard with good facilities and was clean. Unfortunately We had major issues with the hot tub, this could only use from the Sunday morning due to it being very cold (no steam)Read more. We notified Hayley, the maintenance man and James of this however this was met with no solution and this did have an impact on our weekend. Hide
