This charming stone-built cottage is located near the River Spey, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ideal for all outdoor pursuits.

This delightful cottage is situated in Strathmashie, which lies just outside of the village of Laggan. Ideally situated in the Central Highlands of Scotland and is surrounded by the Strathmashie Community Woodlands. Enjoy local activities, such as paddle boarding, hiking, fishing, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, wild swimming, and mountain biking with Laggan Wolftrax only 2 miles away. The '90s hit BBC drama series Monarch of the Glen was set in the Scottish Highlands in fictitious Glenbogle with much of the filming done in the surrounding area. Newtonmore is just 11 miles away and has a supermarket, shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Stepping inside this comfortable cottage into the hall, you will find the tastefully decorated lounge where you can relax in front of the cosy wood burner and watch a movie on the Smart TV after a day of exploring all the area has to offer. Follow the hall through to the dining area where you can enjoy a family meal. On a cooler evening, light the wood burner and enjoy a board game at the table. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Heading upstairs you will find two light and bright rooms, one double and one twin and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Venturing outside to the spacious enclosed garden which is mainly laid to lawn. It’s the perfect area for children to play and whilst you relax and admire the splendid countryside scenery. There is off-road parking for two cars available next to the property.
