Escape to the country in this beautiful, detached property situated on the fringes of the sleepy village of Alsop-En-Le-Dale, with impressive vistas over grassy fields being grazed by the local livestock. A walker’s delight, there are miles of footpaths to be explored from the property or hire some bikes and head along the traffic-free Tissington trail with cycle hire just 7 miles away. Enjoy a stroll along the river at Dovedale along with its famous stepping within a 6-mile drive. The pretty market town of Ashbourne is 7 miles away with its Georgian terraces, 13th-century church, market square, heritage trail, independent stores and antique shops along with plenty of cafes, restaurants and other places to eat.

Step into the hallway and wander through to the kitchen/diner which offers gorgeous views from the dining table across the garden and rolling fields. The lounge is a cosy spot to relax by the wood burner during the winter months; curl up with a good book or pop something on the Smart TV. There is a handy utility room which also provides access to the garden. There are two super king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into twins on request), one with an en-suite shower room and a further ground floor shower room. Head upstairs where you will find two more super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into twins on request) and a bathroom with a bath and separate shower. There is a detached games room offering a 6’ reversible pool and air hockey table with table tennis top providing hours of fun on rainy days.

Outside the garden is fully enclosed with a large patio offering both outdoor dining with the BBQ and seating, and further seating around the fire pit. Relax in the hot tub and make the most of the outstanding views. Kids and dogs will love playing on the nearby lawn.

A fantastic stay in Derbyshire. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and very well equipped, warm inside and with great outdoor space. Just spent a very relaxing weekend at this lovely, well equipped cottage. Rooms very spacious, plenty of room for 7 adults and one dog. Added bonus of the hot tub. Property was close to Alton Towers (25 mins) and Dovedale (10 mins) and lots of beautiful scenery.

It's a beautiful spacious property in a lovely quiet location with footpaths in both directions close to the house. The property has wonderful views from the kitchen/upstairs bedroom, the children loved the hot tub and it was in a good location for nearby attractions. One year later and we are back again and it didnt disappoint. We dont usually visit the same place twice but this is the exception. The house is clean and welcoming with everything you would need. The views are stunning with just the valley and farm animals. We would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday with access to many lovely walks.

The cottage at Valley View was amazing. Set in a beautiful location overlooking a wide valley with sheep and lambs in the field next to us. Inside, the cottage was spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was modern and well equipped and we also enjoyed using the bbq on the patio. A very comfortable and spacious cottage in a beautiful location. The games room came into its own when the weather wasnt good and the hot tub was a delight after the long walks over the hills. It was lovely to watch the lambs and wild life in the field next door.

Perfect location for exploring the peak district. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was perfect after a full day of sightseeing. We all really loved our Sunday roast at the sycamore in Parwich. Would definately return to stay again if we get the chance!

Lovely location, with beautiful views, however garden wasn't secure, as neighbours dog attended frequently! Bedrooms and bathrooms well presented and spacious. The games room and hot tub was enjoyed by all. Lots of off road parking. Great quiet location with nearby walks and attractions.

Beautiful clean and well equipped cottage. All rooms of good size and there is practically no traffic noise so we all slept well. The farm next door provided lots of entertainment with newborn calves, sheep, ducks and a pony. Excellent holiday.

The bungalow was exceptionally clean and welcoming, we loved watching the cows, sheep and. the lambs in the nearby fields. There are plenty of safe walks, particularly the Tissington Trail, which we completed over a few days, starting at different points.. The owners were very accommodating when it became impossible for us to go on the day planned due to the snowfall and offered for us to travel a day later and stay a day later. Excellent communication - even sent the travel report from the local authority. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped.
