Wareham has much to offer. Set beside the River Frome and surrounded by old walls, you can spend your days on the water or simply enjoy the café culture on offer. There is easy access to the ever-popular Jurassic Coast and its many great attractions. The traditional town of Swanage (9 miles) has a popular sandy beach and a great selection of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants; Corfe Castle (4.5 miles) is home to castle ruins cared for by the National Trust; and Monkey World, The Tank Museum and RSPB Arne are all withing 7 miles. On the coast, Studland (9.5 miles), Lulworth Cove, and Durdle Door are all worth a visit and are within 10 miles. Walkers can easily access Wareham Forest, Ballard Down, and Durlston Country Park (all within 11 miles).
