A tastefully furnished cottage arranged over two floors within this holiday accommodation site in the picturesque village of Newton-On-Rawcliffe. Just on the doorstep of the attractive North York Moors National Park, roughly 30 miles north-east of the city of York. Less than 5 miles north of Pickering, you’ll have plenty to do and explore right on your doorstep. Head 3 miles north of the village and you’ll find Cropton Forest, with plenty of great walks available. Travel another 18 miles and you’ll reach the fishing town of Whitby or you can travel there by steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, taking in some beautiful moorland scenery on the way. A little further down the coast is Scarborough (23 miles) with its two sandy beaches, amusements and castle.

With an open-plan kitchen/dining area, this three-bedroom haven is ideal for a family trip or gathering with friends. You’ll feel instantly at home. Seek relaxation in the living area which boasts tasteful décor, and lounge on the plush sofas as the wood burner creates a cosy ambience while you browse through the options on the Smart TV. The dining area is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and plan the day’s events at the dining table with seating for six. The kitchen area has everything you need for mealtimes. There are three bedrooms: a twin room on the ground floor and a double and a twin room upstairs. Two bathrooms are available: a wet room on the ground floor and a first floor with a bath and hand-held shower attachment.

This complex has a vast communal garden with well-stocked borders and wildflower patches; strategically placed benches mean you can while away the hours with a good book or just admire your surroundings. There is also a communal pool house with changing facilities and showers; take a dip in the 6m exercise pool and finish off in the sauna and hot tub.

This property has widened door frames on the ground floor, a ground floor bedroom with wet room next door, both are accessed via a ramp from the dining room.

  • PLEASE NOTE - This property is not suitable for parties due to being in a residential area and the owners kindly request that you consider the neighbours by keeping the noise down outside after 10pm.
  • Please note there are head level beams in first floor bedrooms

  • Arrival: 17:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Lovely cottages and really nice sized pool and hotub. The gardens are wonderfuland peaceful. Idyllic setting for peace and quiet and very convenient for Pickering. Pickering is great for groceries, gift shops and has excellent cafes. The pool and table tennis tables were a good touch. Cottage was comfortable and roomy. Pool and spa area was good buRead moret difficult to get the kids out of. So much in house entertainment with great walks and view, you could spend your whole time at the location. Great. Hide

The cottage is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and the surrounding North Yorkshire countryside is just glorious. The pub nextdoor is great too!

Property and amenities were a little tired, but location was quiet and kids loved the table tennis table and the pool. The jar of sweets on arrival was a fab touch!

Great position for a peaceful break and lovely walks. The cottage was peaceful, clean and well equipped. Claire and Andy were very friendly and welcoming.
