A lovely quiet cottage with extremely friendly and helpful owners. Amazing countryside. The cottage was one of the best we've stayed in, beautifully decorated and furnished. Thank you so much to Jill and Alex and their 2 daughters. We loved the horses and dogs!!

We had a lovely week in the hunters lodge annexe, on arrival we received a warm welcome from the owners. The space was bright and airy and the cottage was well equipped with a fabulous kitchen and bathroom. A lovely hamper was provided including freshly laid eggs. We enjoyed the views over the gardens and paddocks and it was lovely to watch the horRead moreses. It was a great location in the heart of Somerset with plenty to see and do. Perfect Cottage set in lovely countryside. Immaculate and well equipped. Everything we needed for our stay was available with a welcome pack of milk, eggs, tea, coffee and other goodies. Jill and Alex, the owners are welcoming and friendly. It was lovely to use as a base and a pleasure to get back each day. Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a lovely part of Somerset. It was so peaceful and relaxing! The kitchen was really well equipped, everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable! The location was great for exploring Mells, Frome, Bruton and the surrounding area. Hope to return in the future!

Amazing accommodation in a lovely peaceful location. The annexe was exceptional; extremely spacious, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The hosts were very friendly and really helpful. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Would highly recommend.

A modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable property in a peaceful location overlooking open fields, a stable and a horse paddock where we could watch the horses being exercised. It is ideally located for visiting several attractive towns such as Wells and Bradford on Avon. The annexe is a beautiful property, very clean and finished to a high standard. Our hosts were friendly and very generous, leaving a range of treats, which we really enjoyed. The location is good for exploring Somerset ( you need a car) and for lovely walks. I would highly recommend the annexe and would love to visit again.

Absolutely faultless!! A thoroughly enjoyable 5* stay in a beautiful annex. If we are visiting this area again, we will 100% stay here and not look anywhere else. Such an incredible property. Jill, Alex and their children were so friendly and helpful, without being in any way obtrusive. They left us a welcome hamper geared towards our kids which was really thoughtful, and the advice on where to visit was invaluable. This is an absolutely lovely property. Finished to a fabulous standard. The living space is excellent and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. The bathroom was very spacious and the towels very good quality as was the bed linen. There was ample space to store everything. An absolutely superb property which is fitted and equipped to a very very high standard. A comfortable Annexe to the owners house, the let has parking for two vehicles. Everything is on a single level with no steps to any part of the property. Bedrooms and bathrooms are excellent, the living space is really nice and furnishings are superb. A lovely stay and Jill,Alex,Nicola,Annabelle and not forgetting their lovely Spaniels. They had a lot of local knowledge of places to visit. The property was first class and the welcome pack was great. It was such a lovely holiday and easy access to Somerset and Wiltshire. We have already booked again for 2024.

What a great holiday! We stayed for a week over Easter with our 2 daughters, 9 and 4. The cottage was very comfortable and we were given a lovely welcome pack. There were ponies, a horse and sheep on site that we could see at any time. Perfect place for a rest. The family were lovely and very welcoming and left us a nice package of snacks and drinks--also lots of wood for the fire. Everything was incredibly clean and fully specked like the feather duvets and pillows, and boiling water tap.
