This stunning property is wonderfully situated between the town centre and the beach so you can enjoy a stroll down to the Esplanade or the High Street which offers a great selection of shops, bars and local eateries. The children will be in their element down at the pier with arcades, games, attractions and plenty of ice creams to go around. If you fancy staying close to Sandown you’ve got options to visit the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary and Dinosaur Isle or, heading further afield, you’ve got Tapnell Farm and The Isle of Wight Aqua Park both within an 18-mile radius. With easy access to the coastal path and Ferncliff Gardens just 0.5 miles away, there’s plenty of outdoor exploration to enjoy too!

Upon entering this stylish holiday home, you’ll step into the porch area which is ideal for dropping off beach shoes and hanging up jackets. This little area also features a small downstairs WC. Heading into the property you’ll find yourself in the bright and airy open-plan kitchen and living area which features everything you could need for a relaxing island escape. The living room features ample comfortable seating along with a Smart TV, the perfect place to wind down after a long day at the beach. Heading up the stairs you will find the master bedroom with Smart TV – and with the stylish yet cosy decor, it’s impossible not to completely relax and unwind in this lovely, spacious room. If you open the quaint shutters and look out, right ahead and to your right you will get a glimpse of the beautiful sea views that the island has to offer. Moving through this floor there’s the family bathroom – why not take a long soak in the bath after a day out exploring the coastal path? The final room on this floor is a twin room. This room also features lovely shutters providing the perfect environment for a good night's sleep.

Finally, as we head back downstairs and out the back of the property there is a private, enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining any time of the day. You will also find a collection of beach toys and games stored here so there’s no shortage of things to do.

Bay View is a lovely modern, clean and comfortable house. The house is a short walk to the town, beach and coastal path to Shanklin. The house had everything needed for our stay and is very dog friendly with blankets provided to cover the sofa, even food bowls, toys and biscuits provided! A lovely home which was bigger than we expected . Well equipment kitchen, super comfy sofa and safe enclosed garden for our dog. Great location and having a parking space was a real bonus. We had a great family holiday and would stay again

The house is well appointed and comfortable, in a quite cul de sac. A few minutes walk to the sea front. Good space in the garden for our dog enclosed and safe. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely use it again.

Please check what cleaning&maintenance are doing. The house was let down by lack of cleanliness, extremely dusty, not vacuumed, hole in bedding, stains on bedding & blankets,kitchen cupboards dirty inside & out, no dishwasher tabs, 2 pieces kitchen roll, dribble of hand soap, limescaled kettle, dirty toilet brushes, toys dirty. Stunning property, spotlessly clean on arrival and early checkin time if 2.30pm. The house is perfectly positioned only 5 min walk to Sandown beach through fernhill gardens. We welcomed the toys in the 2nd bedroom for our young children and the beds were very comfortable. Fab modern and convenient dog friendly house close to local amenities and great for exploring further afield. Beautiful interior, spacious feel throughout and high spec fittings. Quiet both in the house and in the garden. The garden is 100% secure too to keep your puppy safe.

The Cottage is 5 stars all round in my opinion, it was spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything that you would possibly need for a holiday stay even down to toys and bowls for your doggy companions. Beautiful house and garden to sit in. Very comfortable beds and sofas.

This is a great property in a great location within easy reach of beaches. It has everything you need for a week away (or more) with or without dog. Our dog Charlie had a wonderful time and we were very grateful that the owner provides dog bowls as we forgot to pack ours. Rod

This is a conveniently located house close to Sandown sea front. Dog friendly which was great, and toddler friendly (stairgate & toys available). Modern & stylish feel with an open plan design. Good house, great location. The nearby cliff path is great for access to the beach with good walks in either direction towards Yaverland or Shanklin. The house itself is really well equipped, with all modcons, and was warm and comfortable. On arrival had one query that the agent sorted within minutes. Only quibble was discovering the "no dogs upstaRead moreirs" policy while we were there, too late. I've got an anxious dog for who that's not an option yet, so that needs to be in the info on the site. Hide
