We arrived to find this cottage very warm and cosy with everything that you need. The property is ideal for visiting the Observatory which we did the day we arrived, being only about 3 miles journey. We really enjoyed our stay at Allan's Cottage. The cottage is clean and well equipped. The garden is gorgeous and well enclosed - perfect for the dog. We loved it. It has to be the cleanest property we've stayed in. So comfortable. We couldn't have wished for better, and everything we could have possibly needed was taken care of. It was a great holiday cottage - a lot of thought and care had gone into providing everything and more that could be needed to guests. The secure garden was great for our dog, a fantastic base for the area, and the owners were so helpful throughout. We were made to feel very welcome and had a great break. Charming neighbours too!

This is a modern semi in an exceptionally quiet residential area. It was beautifully looked after, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Even our mini-daxies failed to escape from the huge lawned garden. We would definitely return - even the midges were tolerable!

This was booked at the last minute and we are so glad we picked it. The cottage and garden are amazing. The garden is secure for dogs and a really good size plus you have all the walks on the doorstep in and around Kielder forest and water.
