A spacious rural retreat on the owner’s estate enjoying beautiful scenery within peaceful countryside setting. Sheriffs Lench is one of five hamlets that make up the Lenches nested in rural Worcestershire and popular for stunning views and impressive manor houses. Broadway, described as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’ is 12.3 miles away and is popular for its architecture, independent shops, pubs and eateries. Pershore (6.9 miles) is an unspoiled picturesque market town that has a magnificent abbey and the River Avon flowing parallel to the High Street, well worth a visit. As you move through this corner of Worcestershire and into the Cotswolds you will be spoilt for choice with regards to walking, National Trust properties and fantastic country pubs.

On arrival to this rural retreat, head up the driveway and enjoy the views across to the Malvern Hills and the wildlife from the farm next door. Arrive at the property and straight into a fantastic open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This spacious room has been thoughtfully renovated and blends a modern style with traditional features from the original barn with exposed beams and high ceilings. The lounge has comfortable sofas, a 60"Smart TV and a fantastic wood-burning stove, ideal for a cosy night in. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and separate dining area, plenty of space to cook and enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. Move through into a hallway which leads to two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Next to the bedrooms is the bathroom.

From the hallway through a lovely doorway built into one of the traditional arched barn doors is the outdoor courtyard area. The courtyard is shared with the cottage next door and has its own seating area and charcoal BBQ. To the front of the property is an enclosed lawned garden with table and chairs, a wonderful space to enjoy the fantastic views.

This is a lovely cottage in a very quiet location with views across the countryside. The beds are very comfortable and the cottage has been finished to a high standard . There was plenty of parking space and patio furniture in the space outside. We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cottage and would happily stay here again.

We've just stayed in Plum Cottage for a week and have enjoyed every minute. The cottage was beautiful, well furnished, pristine, and with all the necessities provided. The location was perfect for what we wanted. We will certainly be returning.

A fantastic place, just like home from home - so peaceful and a fantastic unspoilt view over the Worcestershire countryside. Super location within easy access of so many places to visit, including Stratford, The Cotswolds, The Malvern Hills etc. Jon and Georgina are great hosts and what more can we say, we will come again.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location and easily accessible for great walks and locations such as Stratford upon Avon, Winchcombe, Moreton on Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Broadway, The Slaughters and Stow on the Wold. Large fence field to exercise the dog first thing in the morning was an added bonus.
