We loved our stay at the Wash House. It was immaculately clean and a delightful cottage with so much character. We had a lovely, quiet stay which was exactly what we needed. Everyone we met in the village made us so welcome. We wouldnt hesitate to stay in the Wash House again in the future if possible. .

Good quality accommodation, tasteful and thoughtfully furnished. Lovely garden and village setting. We did however find the bedroom to be damp and there were many happy woodlice sharing our space. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week in Cumbria. The super king bed was very comfortable and a real joy to fall into after a day walking in the hills. The location is quite rural which was perfect for us, we would definitely stay in this cosy little cottage again.
