This comfortable cottage is in the perfect location for those that love to be close to the sea. 1 mile away is pretty Lee Bay, great for rock pooling or taking out a kayak or paddleboard. Follow the South West Coast Path along to Woolacombe with its 3-mile stretch of golden sands and beach huts - a mecca for surfing. The village boasts a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants – grab some fish and chips to eat while looking out over the ocean. The Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe is only 1.5 miles away, and from here you can take fishing trips and boat trips along the stunning coastline and see the local sea life including seals, or head over to Lundy Island onboard the MS Oldenburg. Venture a bit further (12 miles) to the magical Exmoor National Park with its moorlands and woodland walks and abundance of wildlife and Exmoor ponies.

Leave your car on the drive and take the few steps up to the property, enjoying the breathtaking views across the countryside to the sea. The porch is convenient for leaving sandy shoes or muddy boots. Step into the open-plan lounge/diner, which is bursting with natural light, with floor to ceiling windows looking out across the spectacular views. Enjoy cosy nights in front of the wood burner and watch a favourite movie with your friends and family on the Smart TV. The stylish kitchen has a centre island with stools to sit and chat whilst making one of your favourite recipes in the well-equipped kitchen. There is also a utility room and a cloakroom with WC. There are three bedrooms: a twin room, a super-king-size with zip-n-link bed (which can be made into twin beds on request) and a king-size bedroom. Completing this floor is a family bathroom. Downstairs, there is a games room with a dartboard and a table tennis table.

Heading out onto the balcony, find a charcoal BBQ and comfortable patio seating where you can sit and enjoy the views whilst dining al fresco. There are plenty of grass areas surrounding the property to walk your four-legged friends.

We had a fantastic time at this lovely property, it comes with our highest recommendation. A short distance from both Ilfracombe and Woolacombe in a quiet village surrounded by fantastic walks and incredible views. Sitting in the lounge with the fire on looking out across the hills to the sea was a real treat! Thank you for having us.

Had a fabulous stay in this home from home - a real sun trap for the winter sunshine, and the views and sunsets are amazing! The location of the cottage between ilfracombe and Woolacombe is perfect, and reading about Lee bay, the area has lots of history. You can walk straight onto the south coast path or Tarka trail, or combine the two in a circleRead more like we did one day (brace yourself for the hill climb though!) Excellent location with wonderful views. Spacious, warm accomodation with very comfortable beds. Exceptionally quiet but not isolated and near to beaches and Ilfracombe. Lots of walks right on doorstep so no need to always take dogs out in car.

We had a fantastic holiday at Whitestone Farm - thank you! The views from the house and terrace were amazing! The house was beautiful - and had all we could wish for. It was a very comfortable stay. It was really good to have access to the south west coastal path via a footpath just up the track from the house. First of all, Devon is overwhelming. The nature is extremely beautiful and the people are very friendly. The house offers a great view and contains all you need. Moving in and out was very convenient and the local support was easy to get, very friendly and helpful.

Also the window seals have blown around a few of the windows consequently blowing very cold air in. Also vista would have been better if they had cut the bush outside the main front window

We had a lovely weeks stay and made some lovely memories. The cottage is beautiful. Beds are really comfy. Everything was very clean. The view was beautiful. Could do with providing a parasol for shade by the outdoor furniture. Also the drive is quite tricky with the incline and the stones. We would stay again.

Stunning location set slightly back from Lee bay and village, perfect for exploring woolacombe and illfracombe. We really enjoyed the views and particularly looking out to Lundy island. Plenty of space in the property and beds were very comfortable but overall not very clean and felt unloved, disappointing for the price paid.
