The cottage is lovely, the decor is tasteful and in.keeping with the age of the cottage. Very spacious indeed. The surrounding area is a delight, we went walking visited Lowther Castle, went to the local farming show. Relaxed and chilled out the peace and tranquility of Lowther was amazing.

The cottage was a great size for us and in a great location. It was clean and tidy, however, the equipment, particularly in the kitchen was well worn and definitely needed renewing which was a shame as the cottage has the potential to be fabulous.

We had a great holiday and found the cottage well equiooed and comfortable. It is such a shame that a few maintenance issues raised by previous holidaymakers have still not been rectified and this detracts from the overall ambience of the property

Nice cottage in a quiet location, sleeps four people comfortably with two shower rooms and an additional w.c. downstairs. The cleanliness of the cottage has deteriorated since our last visit and there are also some maintenance issues that require attention.

The cottage was very nice with the exception of a couple of cleaning issue. The works being carried out either side were a downside to the holiday. We were advised there was some work being done, but had not experienced generators running which meant we had paid a lot for a cottage we could not relax in, works started most days from 8:00am We felt Read moreas though we were being chased out on the final day by the cleaner. Checkout is 10:00am but they were waiting outside from before 9:30am Hide
