Nestled in the heart of Tummel Bridge, this beautiful traditional stone lodge has 2 aces of mature gardens that back onto the River Tummel. This offers a peaceful location which is perfect for those seeking a quiet base from which to explore. You’ll be within driving distance of some of Perthshire's most beautiful natural landmarks and towns, with Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and Kenmore all within 13.5 miles, and Dunkeld a little further (25.5 miles). This area boasts a wealth of outdoor activities including golf, walking, climbing, cycling, canoeing, sailing, angling, ornithology, mountain safaris, off-road driving and horse riding. Enjoy a cruise on Loch Tay (18 miles), explore Glen Lyon, Scotland's longest glen (20 miles), or visit Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery (13.5 miles) or one of the many National Trust sites and historic buildings to be found in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Entered via an attractive glazed front porch and head into the spacious lounge and relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring the beautiful local area. Watch a movie on the Smart TV, and on those cooler evenings, enjoy cosy nights in front of the roaring open fire. Moving through to the delightful kitchen/diner you will find a dining area perfect for sharing a family meal. The modern, spacious kitchen is the perfect place to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. Continuing back through the hallway on the ground floor, there is a small conservatory area with seating overlooking the garden, a shower room with a WC and a king-size bedroom. Going upstairs to the first floor, you will find three light and bright bedrooms, one king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, one super-king bedroom and one  small twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom on this floor for the other bedrooms.

Outside, the spacious garden, which is mainly laid to lawn, is the perfect area for children to play and relax whilst you admire the splendid countryside scenery. There is a summer house and seating area with a BBQ perfect for al fresco dining and lazy evening stargazing.

Lovely spacious cottage. Lots of room for the kids to play, relax and great kitchen. The stream and pond at the back gave them children lots to do. Amenities close by. A good base from which to explore the southern part of Scotland!

A lovely house in a beautiful location. The beds were very comfortable and very spacious rooms. Location wise its pretty good for visiting places around Cairngorms if you dont mind journey times at least 20 minutes plus on winding roads. There is a local shop a 6 minute walk away so only good for the basics. There are plenty of forest walks around Read morethe locality. If taking dogs, make sure you have tick protection as there are loads around. Hide

Beautiful house and gardens. As soon as we stepped through the door we were struck by the quality of the build, furnishings and feeling of space. The gardens were also beautiful. Our dogs loved playing ball and chase in the 2nd garden. My parents loved the sun room which had a great view of the birds and red squirrels. A great base to explore with Read moresome easier Munro's and interesting walks nearby, schiehallion and MacGregor's cave were fab. Also the house of bruar had some great shopping. Hide

We had a wonderful family holiday at White lodge over Easter. The house was beautiful and the large garden perfect for the children to play. White lodge is situated well with lots of places to visit less than an hours drive away. The house is comfortable and all the rooms very spacious. We would definitely highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely wonderful home. The house and garden are absolutely perfect. A lovely homely character with a modern twist. The lounge was comfortable for the 8 of us. The cottage was perfect, we had a great seven day holiday break here. Lovely grounds, so peaceful, view of the river Tummel from the garden. We loved our stay here.

this is a lovely spacious house that is very clean and well equipped. the garden was enclosed and private and the sound of the river was lovely. It is in a quiet spot so you would need a car really but we really enjoyed the house. thanks.

Fabulous cottage, so comfortable and had everything you would want. Comfy beds and beautiful appointed bathrooms. Beautiful and very large secure garden. Very dog friendly, towels provided for those muddy paws, even dog bowls too. A fabulous location to explore the area. Handy local shop for essentials.

Absolutely fantastic place. Had a wonderful time, set within done of the list beautiful surroundings, not too far from a multiple of places and things to do. Property was immaculate throughout, and we honestly couldnt have wished for more. 100 % recommend for anyone who wants a super holiday/break for all the family or just a few.

Had a wonderful short stay at this lovely house. It is extremely well appointed and the extensive grounds were a boon for the children 12, 10 and 8, although they were well warned about the river over the garden wall, We had lots of space for archery competitions between grown ups and children. Fantastic spacious cottage. Our friends who were visiting us from Hong Kong loved this thoughtfully designed and equipped holiday home. Its right on the bank of River Tummel. Cottage had all that we needed. Logs for wood fire place was missing but were arranged promptly by the owner. This is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious home from home. It's in a very private and quiet setting and is well equipped for a special stay.
