This delightful cottage is set in the heart of Axminster town and within walking distance of a wide range of shops, eateries and activities.  Explore all three counties as Devon, Dorset, and Somerset can all be easily accessed. The seaside town of Lyme Regis is 5.5 miles south and is part of the Jurassic Coast, famous for its coastline, fossil hunting, seafront, and watching the fishing boats in Cobb Harbour. For an action-packed day with the kids, Seaton Tramway is a hit and The Axe Valley Wildlife Park and Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium make for fun days out. Bridport is 12 miles away and offers wonderful bespoke shops and the famed, eclectic antiques markets at the weekends. Heading up to the second floor, there is a stylish king-size bedroom with beautiful exposed beams and stunning views across the Axe Valley.

Outside, there is a large enclosed patio garden complete with an outdoor table and seating to enjoy al fresco dining with planters full of herbs. A garden games room offers a comfy sofa, a Wii Console and plenty of toys for the children, or a sunny spot for a peaceful read and to plan your next day of fun.

Fabulous accommodation. All very clean to a high standard. One of the best weve stayed at. Plenty of thick towels. Hairdryer provided. Comfortable bed and pillows. Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will book again for next year.

Beautifully renovated cottage, with everything that you could need available. Ideally situated within the town of Axminster. Very close to bus stop, car parks & shops & eateries. Yet, the cottage is in a very quiet position- we slept well. A rare find with x2 kingsize beds rather than doubles. Some dog hair noted on sofa cushions.

This is a comfortable and characterful old cottage which has been very nicely modernised, with high quality fittings. It's ideally located for the town centre and was very convenient for the shops/pub and also for bus access for anyone travelling without a car.
