Carsington Water is perfect for sailing and water sports and is situated 15 miles away. Chatsworth (15 miles), the medieval Haddon Hall (12 miles) and Alton Towers (15 miles) are well worth a visit. Buxton, renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is 11 miles away. Some of the best walks in Derbyshire can be found to pass through the village so don’t forget your walking boots.
The spacious lounge has many charming features such as an imposing inglenook fireplace and original stone mullion windows and beams. There is a TV and plenty of comfy seating to relax in after a day hiking the hills. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with all you need to rustle up a meal during your stay and a nearby dining table for that special celebration meal.
