Situated in 'The Little White Town' of Bideford, this Georgian house offers luxurious accommodation. Sitting in its own private gardens, and just a short stroll of pubs, restaurants and quayside.

Bideford sits astride the South West Coast Path and offers access to the Tarka Trail, a long-distance track and cycle way which follows the old railway line alongside the river. There is much to see in the area with attractions to suit all including The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Clovelly, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and much more. The surfing beaches of Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands and Croyde are all an easy drive. Stroll into town where there is a bustling quayside with shops, pubs and eateries. In the evenings enjoy a BBQ or just sit back and relax on the large terrace.

On entering this beautiful house, you are greeted by a spacious entrance hall with imposing staircase. To your left is a comfortable and cosy lounge with coal effect gas fire. There is a second lounge/library which is ideal for quiet reading with a large selection of books and open fire. At the end of the hallway is a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is superbly furnished with TV/DVD and French doors that open onto the terrace. The stylish kitchen area has an island unit and is surrounded by a large range style electric oven and gas hob, large fridge and dishwasher. The utility room which is accessed up a couple of steps has an American style fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is also a separate WC, off the entrance hall. The games room has seating, table football, PlayStation, TV/DVD and Wii games console.

Heading up the staircase there are six bedrooms all with en-suite facilites as shown. Room 1. Decorated in calming duck egg blue has a double bed with TV, and en-suite shower room and WC. Room 2. Taupe and grey, another super-king-size zip-and-link room (can be made up as a twin on request) with TV, en-suite large walk in shower and WC. Room 3. The large master bedroom is a super-kingsize zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with TV, en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath, separate shower and WC. Room 4. Decorated in shades of mauve is made up as a super-kingsize (which can be made up as a twin on request) with TV, en-suite shower room with WC. Room 5. This room is a small twin room with 2ft 6in singles, perfect for children, (can be made up as a double on request) with en-suite shower room with WC (please note this bedroom has no TV). Room 6. A large bedroom is also decorated in duck egg blue has a super-kingsize (which can be made up as a twin on request) with TV, en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Stepping outside there is a large gated terrace with garden furniture. Steps lead down to the lawn area accessed via a gate, (care required), the lawn area has a small pond, water feature and separate patio with BBQ. There is ample off-road parking for up to six cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The is was the perfect venue for a larger party. 6 rooms (5 large double and one smaller double room) all with en suite. Plenty of parking (6 at a squeeze, 5 more realistically) and plenty of communal rooms to enjoy, plus a wonderful garden and patio. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. I have no idea how they have been able to remove every trace of dust in such a large house. Beautiful house and so well equipped. I would recommend a stay in this house whether a large family like ourselves (including young children) or a large group of friends.
