Excellent cottage with amazing views over the local villages and Ochils in the distance. Cozy, with comfortable furniture and beds and a vary accommodating landlady. Lovely having the log fire in the evenings. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and plans etc. Knives that are actually sharp and an easy to use sharpener to keep them that way. We had an absolutely fantastic week in the cottage! It was perfect for our little family; our two year old usually has a bath but the large walk in shower entertained her! We came prepared to be chilly (Scotland in January) but the cottage was so lovely and warm we needn't have worried. The basket of logs were enough for three nights of fires (I loRead moreve a proper fire) and since we weren't cold it didn't feel like we were missing out. I can't think of anything that we felt we were without. Hide

Absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is lovely, warm and cozy. Well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Great scenery and location. Far enough away from civilization to be peaceful, but only a short drive to Bonnybridge for provisions. Guinea fowl and pheasants roam the garden, and neighbouring livestock, sheep and deer were nice to see. TRead morehe people in the cottages next door were very friendly too. Lovely well equipped cottage. Located in lovely countryside but not far from amenities. We stayed with our one year old son and had everything we needed, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Wed definitely stay again if we visited this part of Scotland again in future.

The cottage was exactly what was needed for an autumnal stay. It had everything you needed to enjoy the location , whether that was a cosy place to relax or as a great base to explore the many sights and sounds of the central belt. A great time was had by all.

Ideal position for visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs, as well as more local attractions. Quite location, but only a small distance from amenities. The cottage was attractively furnished and accessible for people with some physical disability problems.
