Acton Scott's historic working farm is 2 miles from the cottage and has a range of courses and activities to experience traditional farming methods on its stunning 18th-century estate. Take a day trip to the UNESCO site at Ironbridge, a pretty village with a great mix of independent shops and pubs within a gorgeous valley. Head out for the day with interesting places within 25 miles, perfectly positioned for days in Shrewsbury, Ludlow and a visit over to the border of neighbouring Wales.
