Lovely quiet location with pub next door with good quality food. Bedrooms both had comfy beds and good bathrooms, sofas too low for the more elderly to get up from easily. Lots of walks locally for the dog to enjoy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage was very nice, clean and tidy. We had a meal in the pub the day we arrived which is literally two minuets walk and the food is good. Skendleby is a very quiet village and there are lots of places to visit within 20-30 miles.

Bedrooms are amazing, beautifully decorated & spotless. The larger shower was excellent just needs a grab rail as shower base isn't anti slip. (Probably for us both an age thing) Sofa was a bit low for hubby. Overall a brilliant place! Thank you.
