There’s so much to see and do when staying in this beautiful part of Norfolk. For guests who love wildlife, the popular birdwatching locations of Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe are within 25 miles, or, visit the Watatunga Wildlife Reserve (4 miles) and experience a Norfolk safari in which the animals roam free among 170 acres of the countryside. If it’s a bit of culture and history you’re after, there are a variety of National Trust places nearby including Oxburgh Hall (14.5 miles) featuring a medieval manor house and Victorian garden, or the much-loved country retreat of the royal family, Sandringham (11 miles) where you can explore the parkland on two wheels or two legs before admiring the decor of the house itself.
As you enter this beautifully crafted wooden cabin, nestled in a tranquil woodland setting, you are greeted with a splendid open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that's been built with a social aspect in mind. The designated chef of the group will have all they need to lovingly prepare anything from a light breakfast to a hearty evening meal, and the dining area has enough seating for all guests to gather around and dine together. The lounge area is the place you’ll navigate to after a busy day out exploring Norfolk, and with ample soft seating and a Smart TV capable of streaming your preferred service, there’s no better place to unwind on an evening. When it’s time for bed, choose between a super-king-size bedroom (which can be made into a twin on request) complete with an en-suite shower room, or the welcoming twin bedroom with access to a family bathroom.
Outside, you have a patio area to the front of your cabin with a table and chairs provided. This is a great spot to be at one with nature, taking in the views whilst you dine alfresco. There is also the added luxury of a complimentary on-site gym for guests to use (over 16's only), and a shared patio and coffee lounge with light refreshments available. Please note, there is no bar or restaurant on site.
