This impressive and stylish detached property sits around 0.5 miles from the heart of Lymington, the bustling port town which acts as a gateway to the Isle of Wight via Yarmouth on Wightlink Ferries. For days when you don’t fancy cooking, the nearest pub is around 600 metres away, with the town centre being a little further and playing host to a variety of independent shops, coffee shops and eateries. The picturesque village of Brockenhurst is 4.5 miles away and is surrounded by some beautiful landscapes which you can discover on an afternoon stroll. Other local attractions within 15 miles include Beaulieu Motor Museum for car enthusiasts, Brockenhurst Donkey Walks, Foxlease Activity Centre and Longdown Activity Farm for those who love a bit of nature and, of course, Paulton’s Park, home of Peppa Pig World – a great place for a day out if you have kids in tow.

The property has undergone a scheme of significant renovation over recent years up until 2023, and now features bright and airy open-plan living accommodation with ample kitchen and dining space and sliding doors leading out into the enclosed wraparound garden. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for your holiday, whether you’re heading out for a picnic in the New Forest or a day trip to the Isle of Wight; or indeed cooking a family meal after a busy day exploring the local attractions. A useful separate playroom provides a safe haven for little ones, and is well stocked with a variety of games, toys and puzzles to keep them occupied whilst you unwind with a glass of wine in the comfortable living area. Heading upstairs, there are three bedrooms – the largest of which features a sumptuous king-size bed, with a further twin room and single third room; in addition to a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

The gardens wrap around the house and feature a paved seating area with a table and six chairs plus a parasol at one end, perfect for outside dining, with a superb outside play area at the other end of the garden. This is the perfect space for the kids to let off steam on the climbing frame or by playing giant Jenga, whilst the grown-ups relax and read a good book whilst being within close proximity of the built-in wine chiller in the kitchen. The garden is fully enclosed and a gate to the front leads onto the driveway.

This house was fantastic, we had a lovely stay. I was nervous about taking my 9 month old and 2 year old on holiday, but the house was so child friendly - the play room and garden were exactly what we needed. We all had a really lovely time!

A really lovely property to stay with young children. Lots of equipment, stair gates and a lovely play room. An excellent position for walking into town and in close proximity to shops and local amenities as well as visiting the area by car.

Excellent location, only 10 mins walk into centre of Lymington! The house is spotless and very comfortable. The garden space was great for relaxing and for our little dog. The house has everything you would need. We loved the bed linen and the Blue House towels. Nice touch!

This property is in a great location and you wont be disappointed or wanting for things to do. A brief walk to Lymington which is lovely. The house itself is nice. Unfortunately when we visited it hadnt be cleaned very well and certain things should be replaced such as cups, plates etc. and BBQ which are dirty and worn out. Otherwise well equipped,Read more especially for kids. Hide
