The small reading nook offers far-reaching views of the tree-lined fells and a great space to sit and relax. Next, you’ll head into the spacious dining room, with ample seating and a second wood burner so you will really feel like the lord and lady of the manor whilst enjoying your evening meals. Upstairs, the hallway leads you to the first of the three bedrooms, an inviting and characterful bedroom with a king-size sleigh bed. Across the hall, the second bedroom boasts a stately king-size bed made of brass. This lovely room also offers an en-suite bathroom where you can soak up the bubbles before getting your head down for the evening. The third bedroom is exceptionally charming, with a curtained four-poster king-size bed and a smaller single bed for flexible sleeping. The family bathroom further along the hall offers a walk-in shower and an elegant bath.

To complete the property, the outside space is landscaped – with both lawn and patio, this is a great space for those warmer evenings to dine alfresco or enjoy a good book while soaking up the sun.

This house could be so beautiful but apart from the kitchen and bathrooms, an air of neglect is prevalent. Beautiful setting but house disappointing.

Gorgeous setting! The view from the back of the house was mesmerising- with the fire pit lit and the babbling brook it provided a go to place for inner peace and calmness. A great place for a family bbq, few drinks and lots of chatter. Beds were very comfy, good quality appliances and we made use of the small snooker table - does need some levellinRead moreg though. Lots of games we were glad of on a rainy day. Only downside we couldnt get in the near by pub for food as it was booked. Nice neighbours Hide

A spacious comfortable house with good facilities. A quiet bucolic setting with a great space for the dog to have a run around. Fantastic base from which to explore the area.

Wow wow. What a wonderful and memorable family stay, the rooms were spacious and the property was located away from the city nestled in pure nature with the sound of a beautiful stream to relax and drink your tea by. We had a lovely five day stay at the cottage, it was in a perfect spot, was clean & had everything you needed. The pool table was a great addition. Would highly recommend.

Very nicely done house, in nice peaceful location. It's not detached as I was told, but minimal noise from nice neighbours. You do get noise from the early start from the farm over the road but only tractor noises. You will not be disappointed with this place it's clearly had a huge amount spent renovating it to a high standard. The lettings agent Read morewas also very helpful.. Hide

As a family of six we wanted somewhere with some outside space and large enough so we were not all crammed together. This place receives a massive tick from us - large bedrooms, one en suite too, super kitchen and living area. DVDs for the evenings, and pool and table football too. Outside a small cricket area was a surprise bonus for us all! ConisRead moreton not too far away so the location is better than expected from the map. Nice welcome gift and lovely owners checked via text that we were ok. 10/10 Hide
