This is 1 of 3 beautiful and traditional lodges in the scenic village of Cannich with stunning far-reaching Highland country views, close to Loch Ness.

This delightful lodge is situated in the picturesque village of Cannich near to the town of Beauly, with the charming local pub/restaurant situated nearby, making this a fantastic base to explore this charming corner of Scotland. The vibrant and popular city of Inverness is less than an hour away, offering a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are numerous attractions close by including the world famous Loch Ness and exhibition centre, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric, Strathglass, Dog Falls, the MTB Centre at Glenurqhart, Guisachan House, Plodda Falls, Glen Strath Farrar, Moniack Castle (Highland Winery), Black Isles and the Glen Ord Distillery. This is one of three beautiful detached properties each set in private enclosed garden grounds.

On entering this delightful single-level accommodation you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The inviting and attractive lounge is an ideal space to relax in, complete with TV/DVD and offering stunning views. You will also find an ideally situated dining area, and the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer. Exploring this attractive property further you will find two comfy bedrooms. There’s a cosy king-size room and a comfortable bunk bedroom. You will also find a shower room complete with WC.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the charming enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and which offers spectacular country views. The pub/restaurant, shop and Post Office are all just a short stroll away. Trout fishing, salmon fishing and pony trekking are all available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Cosy lodge, very dog friendly which is great as we have 3 dogs. Pub and shop on site but very quiet, small village. Great area for walking but need to drive to access visitor attractions and further amenities. Beautiful scenery for miles!

Lovely cottage ,equiped with absolutely everything you may need. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owners Angela and Sott were very welcoming...even left a treat for my springer spaniel Ruby. Beautiful location, ideal base for exploring surrounding countryside. Beautiful location. Pub onsite Shop next door (convenience store/post office). Ideal if youre bringing your dog on holiday. If you dont like dogs, probably not an ideal choice as owners have multiple dogs themselves & they do like to come & say hello

The only thing about our holiday lodge its the first time we have experienced not getting the car down parked beside lodge and having to carry all our things down from car park at the side of the salters arms car park, on your website on your departure date got to vacant the lodge by 10 am but theres a notice inside lodge stating to vacant 9.30 or Read morebefore, first time weve had to get electric payment cards on arrival we felt the money you pay out for our holiday it should have been included Hide
